La salute dei nostri cani è per noi qualcosa di molto importante, anche più dei risultati in esposizione. Quando questi due mondi si uniscono per noi è il top. Abbiamo 5 generazioni in allevamento, 5 generazioni con cui abbiamo effettuato accoppiamenti mirati per migliorare la razza, principalmente dal punto di vista della salute. 
Duke, ma anche suo fratello Dante Mezzanotte, sono il nostro orgoglio, frutto del nostro lavoro, di scelte oculate nella riproduzione. Entrambi campioni, fanno entrambi parte di una cucciolata di qualità, omogenea, ci hanno dato tante soddisfazioni sia per i risultati espositivi, che per i risultati dei test genetici e strumentali e della loro salute in generale. 
Lo scorso weekend abbiamo effettuato il Breath Test a Duke, superandolo egregiamente nonostante il caldo, dopo una expo e dopo una lunga passeggiata. Siamo orgogliosi del suo risultato perchè questo mette nero su bianco ciò che ho sempre detto e ripetuto a tante persone con cui ho parlato nel corso degli anni: se i bouledogue francesi vengono accoppiati con criterio, non prendendo un maschio ed una femmina a caso, ma solo dopo aver fatto un attento studio delle genetiche, linee di sangue ed altro, con accoppiamenti fatti in allevamento di generazione in generazione e con i test strumentali e genetici alla mano, tantissime patologie tipiche della razza non saranno più presenti nelle generazioni successive. La respirazione è uno dei punti cruciali, ma se si seguono regole etiche e si fa una vera selezione, i bouledogue francesi possono avere una respirazione perfetta. 

The health of our dogs is very important to us, even more than the results in shows. When these two worlds come together for us it is the best. We have 5 generations in our kennel, 5 generations with which we have made targeted matings to improve the breed, mainly from the point of view of health. 
Duke, but also his brother Dante Mezzanotte, are our pride, the result of our work, of careful choices in reproduction. Both champions, both are part of a quality litter, homogeneous, they have given us so much satisfaction both for the show results, and for the results of genetic and instrumental tests and their health in general. 
Last weekend we performed the Breath Test on Duke, passing it with flying colors despite the heat, after an expo and after a long walk. We are proud of his result because it puts in black and white what I have always said and repeated to many people I have spoken to over the years: if French bulldogs are mated with criteria, not taking a male and a female at random, but only after having done a careful study of genetics, bloodlines and more, with matings done in breeding from generation to generation and with instrumental and genetic tests in hand, many pathologies typical of the breed will no longer be present in subsequent generations. Breathing is one of the crucial points, but if ethical rules are followed and a real selection is made, French bulldogs can have perfect breathing.
